ATLA African Dress Day
This is the day when we will be learning about our ancestors
we will be dressing the way our ancestors did back in history. We will be having speakers from various institutions and government body to speak to our
children and a lot more activities lined up. Parents are free to be involve.
Fasting And Prayer
Fasting and prayer begins February 1st at the church sanctuary 7:pm nightly
Fund Raising Concert for Play Ground
We are desperately in need of a play ground for our children and so we are doing so in hosting a concert May 22, 2015 Please support. If you cannot make it please go to our donation page and make your donations or take it to the school we would kindly appreciate it.
Martin Luther King Day
Martin Luther King Day
Martin Luther King Day is a federal holiday held on the third Monday of January. It celebrates the life and achievements of Martin Luther King Jr., an influential American civil rights leader.
Cultural Day
This event will emphasise each country where our students were born.
Please ensure that our children are dressed in their native colors, cultural outfits. We also would like for them to prepare the national dish of their native countries for lunch. We would like to have them teach us something about their country: song dance, poem etc.
Annual Sports Day
Support Our Future Athletes
This event is where our future athletes are born so we encourage every one to come out and support our children.
This years Sports Day will be held at the A.O Shirley Recreational Ground on March 26, 2015. Students should be dressed in their sports gears. Please bare in mind that parents are to be in attendance.
Training will begin March 2, 2015 please take your gears along.
Poetry Competition
Will be at the school sanctuary January 27, 2015. This will see students compete in writing a poem. There is no special topic for this years competition.
Students compete for winning the price of a lap top sponsored by Ismart Electronics.
